- Ingredient A:
5 pcs Ayam Dindings Fried Chicken
2 Bombay onions (chopped)
3 Shallots (thinly slices)
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tbsp Ginger paste
0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
6 pcs Dried Chili (sliced into half)
2 tbsp Curry Leaves
3 tbsp Chili Powder
0.5 cup of Water
- Salt to taste
1 tbsp Oil
- Ingredient B:
0.5 inch Cinnamon
2 Cloves
0.5 tsp Black Peppercorn
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
0.5 tsp Fennel Seeds
0.25 tsp Poppy Seeds
5 Dried Chilies
2 tbsp Dried Coconut

Let's Start Cooking

 

 

  1. Deep fry fried chicken for 10 to 12 minutes—depending on the chicken sizes. Set aside when it turns golden brown.
  2. Heat ingredients B in a pan on low heat, until brown and fragrant. Let it cool before grinding them into a fine paste with water.
  3. In the same pan, heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, dried chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until aromas rise.
  4. Add Bombay onions and shallots. Sauté for a while and add in ginger and garlic paste until fragrant.
  5. Mix in ingredient B paste and sauté for 3 minutes.
  6. Pour water and bring to a simmer until it thickens. Season with salt.
  7. Add the fried chicken and coat evenly before turning off the heat.
  8. Serve it hot with capati.
